“Umalambane (Afrocentric Mix)” brings Black Motion together with Spice Drums, King Monopoly, Thabo Roy Mabogwane and Mpho Thobejane for a Deep House release set to arrive in 2026. The track is part of the project Pula le Maatla, adding another collaborative moment to the project’s overall presentation.

Scheduled for release on 23 October 2026, the song carries a title that points to an Afrocentric direction while remaining grounded in the polished, electronic framework associated with Deep House. The extended mix title also positions the release as a track built for an immersive listening experience, allowing its musical elements to unfold with space and movement.

Black Motion leads the release alongside a diverse group of featured contributors. Spice Drums, King Monopoly, Thabo Roy Mabogwane and Mpho Thobejane each form part of the credited lineup, giving “Umalambane (Afrocentric Mix)” a distinctly collaborative identity rather than presenting it as a solo performance.

As part of Pula le Maatla, the track contributes to a broader project from Black Motion while standing on its own as a clearly defined Deep House offering. Its Afrocentric mix designation gives the song a specific identity within the project and highlights the central role of rhythm, atmosphere and layered musical textures in its presentation.

Listeners can look forward to “Umalambane (Afrocentric Mix)” when it arrives on 23 October 2026. With Black Motion at the centre and Spice Drums, King Monopoly, Thabo Roy Mabogwane and Mpho Thobejane joining the release, the song offers a focused collaboration for audiences drawn to Deep House and Afrocentric electronic music.
