“Basstrap” brings together Thabo Tonick and Hypaphonik for an Afro House release featured on the project Sun God. Scheduled for release on 22 October 2026, the track adds another distinct entry to the project while presenting both artists in a collaborative setting.

Built around its striking title and Afro House identity, “Basstrap” is positioned as a focused electronic release with a clear dance-oriented character. The collaboration between Thabo Tonick and Hypaphonik gives the song a defined artistic pairing, combining the contribution of the lead artist with the presence of the featured act.

As part of Sun God, “Basstrap” contributes to the wider shape of the 2026 project. Its inclusion places the song within a broader body of work rather than presenting it as a standalone release, offering listeners an opportunity to experience it alongside the other material included on the project.
